EMPTY SPACES IN INNOVATION LABS
CREATING THE CULTURE OF INNOVATION
On one side we have idle spaces, on the other we have creative and innovative entrepreneurs with big ideas in their minds, eager to be in an ecosystem that stimulates the generation of business.
For that reason, creating a culture of innovation is the tool we use to give meaning to these spaces, promoting them to catalysts of innovation, hosting companies, professionals, startups and scale-ups that together will promote the economic development of the community in which they are inserted.
We understand that innovation is the result of a nonlinear, chaotic and even uncontrollable movement, which often occurs accidentally. Consequently, we cannot control innovation, but we can create environments that stimulate connection between people.
Victor Hwang - Workshop The rainforest - Nós Coworking 2013
Innovation is proportional to the connection.(Hwang, Horowitt, 2012)
Knowing that, we connect people and institutions, encouraging innovation to happen and be the driving force that leads to relevant economic and social results.
UFO SPACE -A PLACE TO INNOVATE
This way, UFO SPACE is born, an environment concept that promotes connections between people and institutions (companies, governments and non-governmental organizations).
To create this environment, we have created a concept that brings together a bare and creative architecture in a multiple environment, combined with an environment management that stimulates connectivity, promotes meetings, attracts audiences, creating a constant flow of innovation.
Welcome to UFO
Here we present two basic models of environments we created. They are related to each other, host entrepreneurs and are focused on generating business.
UFO's full model brings together lodging, business incubators, project offices, coworking spaces, event areas and convenience
Our satellite units, which expand the network of UFO spaces. At UFO STORE, Coworking, event space and pop up store, they divide space and create a different experience than conventional commercial spaces.
